We had one of those fridge filters and I genuinely thought that was… handling it? Ran a TDS test out of curiosity after this arrived and yeah. No. Anyway. Glad I know now I guess.

Install was easier than I feared (I'm not handy at all). Knocking off a star only because the instructions could be clearer on the last connection — took me a youtube video. Once it's in though it's been flawless for 4 months.

Main thing I cared about was NOT adding another chore to my life. Changed the filter once so far, took five minutes, app-free, no fuss. If you're the type who never remembers maintenance — same — it's fine.

Spent two weeks in a rabbit hole over the "RO strips your minerals" thing because that worried me. This one puts them back. That was the dealbreaker for me — the remineralization, not the filtering. Water doesn't taste flat like distilled.

Was worried it'd taste weird/metallic. My daughter now calls it "the good water" and refuses the water fountain at school 🙄 so. make of that what you will.

Husband thought I'd been scammed by another instagram product tbh. Then he tasted it next to our tap. He's the one who tells people about it now.

Hard to explain but I didn't realize how much low-grade worry I had about the water until it was just… gone. They drink it all day. Now I don't think about it. That's the whole review.

Every other system I shortlisted was this flimsy plastic thing. The stainless actually looks like it belongs in our kitchen instead of looking like an appliance I'd be embarrassed about. Worth the extra honestly.
